Video tour of our new rack, the Rep Fitness PR-5000 + Ares!
After three years of working out in my garage gym, I started to miss the variety of a commercial gym.
I like compound weightlifting movements, but I’m not a powerlifter, olympic lifter, or Crossfitter.
I’m just an average dad who likes to lift and have always enjoyed using different machines.
After much research and watching endless reviews online, I fell in love with the Rep PR-5000 + Ares.
The PR-5000 + Ares essentially replaces four different machines (power rack, lat pull-down, low row, functional trainer) in a compact space, super important for me since “the boss” only authorized 25% of our two-car garage.
I added the wings because I needed to push the rack back as far against the wall as possible to maximize space in front for deadlifts and functional trainer movements.
Additionally, I added barbell storage and needed to ensure that the garage attic stairs would not be obstructed.
Happy Lifting!
Looks better on Instagram, but you can watch the video below!
